Our software runs in fact through a serial port which is virtually created by a USB port. To do this, you need to install a VCP driver from the chip manufacturer. Virtual COM port (VCP) drivers cause the USB device to appear as an additional COM port available to the PC. Our application software accesses the USB device in the same way as it would access a standard COM port.

Vista users had some problems with the existing drivers. Hence we advice to check on the page link below to download the appropriate driver according to your PC operating system.

go to the manufacture download page

You will need this driver to have the interface connected to the PC.

GSA software full version 6.0.3
software to make the gauges work. This is the primary setup package, including all the drivers for the USB port as well as the cabinet file. If you are a first time user, this is the file to download.

GSA software exe file version 6.0.5
For customers who have already installed the gauges, but want to upgrade the software. This is only the executable file and the config file.
Unzip the file and paste the exe file in your flight illusion folder.

This version offers new functionalities.

• new analogue altimeter can be used
• new cessna engine cluster can be used
• New cessna digital clock can be used
• Many small changes that further improve performance

• Solves the VOR2 deflection bug

You will need to copy both the exe and the cgf file, hence overwriting your own config file. This means that if you want to use version 6.0.4 then you will have to reconfigure all your gauges and I/O module inputs and outputs. Unless you have then new NAV gauges

GSA software for X-plane version 3.0
This is version 3.0 for X-plane and it is fully functional.
Most of the Gauges, Radio’s, etc. are implemented now. Also the X-Plane data-ins and data-outs are seriously extended. Apart from driving the gauges, the program includes tools for adding, modifying and or testing the various X-Plane parameters.
This program also includes the function to create own (special) gauge plates.

Please notice the the config files distributed with this DEMO version aren't yet complete and will contain functions (originating from MS-FS) are not converted yet. But in due time we will ,step-by-step, complete the conversion. Any help as to that from the X-Plane community would be highly appreciated.
