Description
The CAV-NAV is a replica of the Collins radio module. It connects with the GSA-55 interface and reads/writes data directly from Flight Simulator or X-plane. The NAV radio can be set to NAV1 or NAV2 in our software. The frequencie are also send to the GSA-DME if that item is connected.
The radio has 2 sets of display, one for the active frequency and one for the Standby frequency. these are tuned in by a dual rotary encoder and a transfer switch toggles between ACT and STBY frequency.
A MEM button can store up to 10 frequencies along your flightplan. (VOR’s along the SID, en route VOR, ILS,…)
A TEST button lights up all the LED segments.
